Sue's publishing career began at the age of six, when she would retype her favorite Golden Books on her mom's ancient Underwood typewriter. After a high school stint working at the local library and two years as an editor on her college yearbook, her first job after graduation was working for a small publishing house outside of Boston. After a lengthy diversion into the world of advertising and marketing, she has come full circle to blend her passions: books, writing, and marketing.
Sue has spent more than 20 years as a marketing consultant and advertising copywriter. Her knowledge and experience span a wide range of industries, including tourism, manufacturing, health care, education, retail, and business-to-business. She gives our clients the benefit of her expertise in strategic marketing development. She has taught marketing seminars and made numerous presentations to business groups. Sue graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in English (Journalism concentration) and a minor in Math, and later studied marketing at Northeastern University.
Sue's work with Writers of the Round Table focuses on marketing the exceptional books we develop. She gives our clients the benefit of her expertise in strategic marketing development and is particularly adept at uncovering market niches. She works one-on-one with every client to create a plan that generates the most results.
When not glued to her computer, Sue escapes to the beach near her Maine home for inspiration, accompanied by her golden retriever, Maxie. She also knits, reads everything she can lay her hands on, cheers on her beloved Red Sox and Patriots, and wages an ongoing battle of wits with her teenage son.
